Sales Executive

 

Reports To:   Sales Director

Location:       Leeds 

Salary:             20K OTE

Type:                Permanent

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Altinet Sales Team. 

 

Job Role: 

 

Working in a lively sales environment, the main purpose of the role will be to make outbound sales calls to private and public sector organisations throughout England to successfully promote Altinet’s portfolio of market leading IT solutions, including Barracuda Networks, Cisco and Pure Storage.

 

You will be targeted on the number of quality sales calls you make to companies and the number of meetings you book for the senior sales team, which will translate into a generous commission package and lead to future career progression.

 

Altinet also offers fantastic incentives including:

 

  • Realistic on target earnings of between £18,000 - £20,000 (more if you are a high achiever)

  • Nice office hours 9am – 5.30pm Monday - Friday

  • 20 days paid holiday

  • Daily/weekly/monthly performance incentives such as early finishes on a Friday, lunch bought for all the sales team, company nights out and more.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Achieve or exceed the minimum weekly target for calls made and meetings booked

  • Generate new business opportunities to meet company needs

  • Actively seek new business using email and telephone lead generation methods and communicate any opportunities to the senior sales team

  • Promote Altinet’s portfolio of solutions

  • Completing sales by ensuring that all paperwork is accurately completed and all information is captured and submitted to Salesforce promptly and efficiently

 

Experience and Skills

 

  • Previous experience in a Sales environment, telesales an advantage

  • Enthusiasm to do well in a sales role

  • Driven and tenacious

  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own work with the minimum of supervision

  • Able to demonstrate ability to work to deadlines and be target driven

IT Consultant 

 

Reports To:   Sales Director

Location:       Leeds 

Salary:             35K OTE (23K Basic Wage Per Annum)

Type:                Permanent

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Altinet Sales Team. 

 

Job Role: 

 

Altinet is expanding its operations and offers and exciting opportunity for a pro-active, high impact technical sales individual. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with a can-do attitude and ability to work independently.

 

The role would include creating a sales plan for the Northern Region in the UK (Including focus businesses/customer targets), identifying the correct contact(s) and stakeholder(s) with the business, making contact by phone to book webinars/meetings, managing the evaluation process.  

 

Altinet also offers fantastic incentives including:

 

  • Realistic on target earnings of between £33,000 - £35,000 (more if you are a high achiever)

  • Basic Salary £23,000 Per Annum 

  • Nice office hours 9am – 5.30pm Monday - Friday

  • 20 days paid holiday

  • Daily/weekly/monthly performance incentives such as early finishes on a Friday, lunch bought for all the sales team, company nights out and more.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • To present product options to new and existing clients, focussing mainly on opportunities for flash storage

  • To arrange and conduct a number of WebEx meetings/demonstrations of the technical solutions to prospects with the aim of securing, pilots and orders. 

  • To maintain the CRM: 

    • ​Clean database, obtain, update and add client information 

    • Record relevant information after making contact with prospects and clients 

    • Update sales opportunity pipelines

  • To work as part of a team:

    • ​Share best practices with others in the team

    • Liaise with vendors to develop individual sales strategies

    • Integrate with the sales team to develop and follow-up campaigns

 

Experience and Skills

 

  • At least 3 years' experience in a IT based sales role.

  • Well educated, preferably with a business related degree. 

  • A good technical background with a thorough understanding of storage, security and IT solutions.

  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own work with the minimum of supervision.

  • Able to demonstrate ability to work to deadlines and be target driven.

  • Experienced in working with and demonstrating online conference facilities such as WebEx.

  • Additional language skills would be desirable.
